"The Fault In Our Stars"

When I was waiting at the aiport in London to take my plane, I saw in the shop the bestseller "The Fault In Our Stars", a book that has been read by thousands of people and that everyone seems to love. So I bought it there.

The book is about the story of Hazel, a 16 year-old girl with lung cancer that starts going to a Support Group and meets Isaac, who has a tumor in one eye , and Augustus, a friend of his that joined him.
Hazel, who according to her mum does not have a social life because she is always at home, becomes friends with them. That's when Hazel's life changes. She lives new experiences and grows as a person.

I started to read this book last Friday and I finished it on Tuesday. To be honest, I really loved the book and I also cried a lot.

In some weeks the movie is coming out and I truly recommend to read the book before watching it. I cannot wait to watch it !!!!!!!

Ed Sheeran sings the song "All Of The Stars" and it's very beautiful.

"annie96 is typing..."

Yesterday during the free time at school I saw the whole Twitter was talking about the "annie96 is typing..." story. The following hour I didn't have class so my friend and I decided to search what it was.

"annie is typing..." is an online short chat story that takes around 5 minutes to read. It's about an "horror" story that starts with an introduction of an unknown person that explains he/she saw this conversation on WhatsApp and that he/she saved it, but that when he/she wanted to see it again, it wasn't there anymore.

The chat is between Annie and David McDavey, two teenagers that are having a normal late night talk conversation. At the beginning they talk about Johnny, someone that apparently has "issues". But suddenly Annie, that is home alone all night, sees someone in her garden... And I'd explain the whole story but that wouldn't be nice so I'll just leave the link of the story here: http://storiesforyourscreen.com/annie96-is-typing/

And in case you don't understand what happened (I think it's an open final), there is this pic that explains a bit what can have happened: https://twitter.com/search?q=annie96%20story&src=typd

This is what everyone was talking about yesterday on Twitter and got so many views in less than 24 hours. Because I read it with my friend, at class and with all my classmates around, I didn't find it scary at first. I honestly thought people were going too far away saying that it was really scary but then, when I was having dinner approximately at 8pm, I was explaining the story to my mum and my sister and I couldn't even finish to explain it because I was really freaking out of how frightened I was. In addition, I had opened one window that doesn't close properly and I forgot to close it and while I was explaining started to make noise because of the wind. That was really not cool. But the story in general is not that scary, it's only me, I guess.

Writing a story with a WhatsApp conversation is something no one has done before and I think it's very nice! I really enjoyed reading it. It's a new way and I hope people gets motivated to write more stories like this. Until now I've been reading online stories on Wattpad but not in a WhatsApp conversation.

Spring Break Party

Last Saturday there was 9one of these huge local parties, apparently. This year is the second year this party has been celebrated here, since last year was an epic party and was really well known and they decided to have the party again.

At first when I got told there was this party I said I wasn't going, I just didn't feel like it. All my friends were giong but one of my closest friends didn't know how to come back home and she really wanted tio go so I told her tio sleep over at mine.

When Tania, Léna and I were there we didn't know what to do, but we decided to pay the ticket and take a look what was inside. There were so many people and we were constantly recognizing people that used to come to our school, and that was really nice.

I had had a good feeling, like something good was going to happen and that was actually what happened! We had such an incredible time and great things happened. But apparently there was a fight and the organization told us we had to leave the party. It was only 3:30am and some people were bothered but we all left peacefully.

But at the end I had a super nice time with my closest friends.

Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes is a 15 year-old guy (almost 16) who lives in Toronto. He started to post videos on the Internet singing and in less than two years he has experienced new things and now, during this Summer, he is going to be one of the openers for Austin Mahone in America.

Shawn started to post videos on the Internet, on Youtube and Vine, and then he joined the Magcon group, a teenage group of boys and one girl that have talents like making people laugh or singing. But in the past months some things have happened and Magcon is not the same anymore.

But from Magcon and its tour in the U.S.A., more people started to know about him, especially people from America. He started to post more videos and he is being so happy lately because he is receiving a lot of love and I'm happy because of that. With time, Europe has started to know about him as well and I can tell he is really excited with everything that's going on.

He can sing anything you ask him for, but he likes Ed Sheeran a lot and he makes a lot of covers of his songs. In fact, weeks ago he tweeted he'd like to tour with Ed one day. Crossing fingers he does! I'm pretty sure he'll accomplish it and if he doesn't, I'm sure he'll do something better like having his own tour? Who knows, but his voice is amazing and he is really, really good.

The first time I listened him was in one of his vines, because in these six seconds videos he sings different songs so many times. I was on Facebook scrolling down and a Vine page posted one of his videos. I even remember tagging my friend telling her to take a look because he really can sing! And weeks later another friend sent me a cover of him and that's when I started to follow him everywhere and support him.

I hope Shawn becomes more famous and that then he can open for Austin if he comes to Europe or for Ed or someone because I really want to see him. Or maybe his own tour! But it also has its negative things because if he is more known then I won't have as many chances as I have now to be noticed by him on Twitter. But I wish him the best so I hope he gets to tour with Ed Sheeran someday!

Keep your eyes peeled!

Mean Girls

This year it's the 10th birthday of Mean Girls, a teenage movie that shows high school life and it's people, like the popular girls, the most handsome football players, the nerds, the ones that don't give a damn about anything... Everyone.

This movie has been very popular and actually a lot of girls have followed the popular girls of the movie's things during these past ten years. These three girls are the coolest girls in the school and they have some rules that for them are really important. Important to the point that if you didn't follow them then they'd say "You can't sit with us".
Regina, Karen and Gretchen are theese girls and some of their rules are that they wear pink every Wednesday and they always say things like "fetch" and "grool", which means that something is great and cool.

So since it's been the teenth birthday, my friends and I have been talking about the movie more than the usual and we've started to follow some of their rules too and in addition we've added more things. For example, on Wednesdays we wear pink, like them, but we also wear striped shirts on Mondays and something with a flamenco on Fridays. We say things like "fetch" and "grool" as well! It all sounds so corny but we like to do it so!

I really love this movie and so my friends do! We all agree it is one of our favourities! In fact, Tania and I have done a quiz to see which character from the movie we are and I got Karen and she got Gretchen! So Angelina is Regina.

GERMANY

Exactly one week ago I was heading to Germany, to my friend's grandparents' house in a beautiful town called Braünlingen. It was the second time I went and it was even better than the last time. I had so much fun and I could say it has been one of the best trips I've ever done.

On Thursday my daddy brung us to the aiport and there we took the plane. We are 16 so we are legally allowed to fly without an adult. When we arrived we had to take a bus and then a train for around two hours, until we arrived at the train station and her grandparents were waiting us.
We would wake up early every day and enjoy the whole day. We visited her family and since I know them from last year, it wasn't that awkward.

We made a lot of things like visiting different cities and such, and on Saturday we decided to visit a city two hours away by train. Surprisingly, there was a HUGE festival where the people dresses with typical dresses and drink a lot. The whole train was full of drunk and dressed people and my friend and I couldn't help but laugh all the time. We had a blast during all the way. The youth next to us were singing out loud all the time and they even talked to us. A funny fact from there was that while we were there, a Mexican guy walked by us and thinking I was German, he asked me if the toilets where there. I didn't understand so I looked at my friend and one of the drunk German guys, who knew I don't talk German, told him something like "hey, she talks Spanish, ask her where is the toiletá", so the Mexican guy turned to me and told me "toiletá?" but I still didn't know what was going on so my poker face was epic, I guess. And my friend started to laugh so much and I was like what the heck. The German guy thought toilet in Spanish was toiletá... actually has a bit of sense if you think about it like, why not?

Last year we went to a lounge bar in her town and we met two of the waiters, so this year we went again. Actually we went everyday because it's a restaurant as well and one day we went with her auntie and another day with her cousins. I couldn't understand anything but Angelina would translate everything to me so I wasn't lost all the time.

I have no idea of German, not more than ten words but I don't know how I made it to understand some things when she was talking to her grandparents or cousins, like maybe she said one word and I recognized it and I knew what were they talking about.

We met a lot of different people during the hours we were in the train and it was HILIAROUS. If I had to summarize the trip in one word I'd say funny. Angelina and I were laughing the whole time, like  a l l  the time.

COACHELLA

Right now is having place the famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. It's one of the most good known festivals in the United States and a lot of celebrities attend to the festival every year.

Coachella was founded by Paul Tollett in 1999, even though the festival's origins trace back to a concert that Pearl Jam performed at the Empire Polo Club in 1993. At first, in 1999, the festival lasted two days, and the following year there wasn't any festival. In 2001 the festival only lasted one day and again, in 2002 it lasted two days. In 2007 another day was added and in 2012 another weekend. So nowadays, Coachella lasts two weekends.

During these days people can camp on the grounds and that's one of the reasons a lot of people attends to this huge festival. In 2010, around 75,000 people came each day. Only last year, the festival two weekends grossed $67 million, which made it the highest-grossing festival ever. Obviously, the tickets aren't that cheap so that's why they gross a lot: a general pass costs around $375 and the VIP pass $799. But a lot of famous artists attend it during these days like Amy Winehouse, Snoop Dogg, Paul McCartney, Madonna, The Black Keys, Jay-Z and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Practically all young celebrities attend to this festival, like Harry Styles, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevigne, Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry, Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton... They all wear an indio style, which I personally think is so cool.

This year, Coachella started last weekend from April 11th to 13th and this is the last weekend, and it ends tomorrow.

I really hope one day I can attend Coachella personally, not Tomorrowland or something like that but Coachella. It's amazing and while these days everyone is posting pictures on the Internet I'm here stuck in this country.

Here you can take a look of what things happen in this enormous festival: https://www.youtube.com/user/coachella

Frozen

When the movie "Frozen" came out, my little sister wanted to go to the movies to watch it. Normally, my mum join her, but that day I was bored as hell and wanted to go out so badly, so decided to take her there instead of my mum.

When we arrived, I noticed I was the only teenager there and at first I felt a bit pathetic but then I realized that feeling that way was stupid. I'm 16 years-old and I still like Disney movies, what's wrong with that? They always give you strenght and faith to believe in things. But to be honest I wasn't that excited.

The movie started and I felt like a little child again, and I really enjoyed the whole movie. Actually, I think I liked the movie more than my sister did, and I went home feeling so happy.

The movie related the story of two princesses, one some years older than the other. The older one, Elsa, has a weird power in her hands that makes her froze everything she touches, even though at first this would only happen when she wanted to. Until one day, playing with her sister Anna creating snow, harmed her. It was something serious, very serious, and they needed the help of some little animals. They made her get better but she forgot everything that happened that day.

Since that day, Elsa decided to be closed in her room always, all the time. She would never go out, because the power became so bigger until the point all her room was frozen. Everything that was around her would be frozen, like ice. Her little sister would be always knocking at her door asking her "Do you wanna build a snowman?", but Elsa would never answer.

Their parents had died years ago and on the day of Elsa's birthday, when she was going to become the queen. She got ready and wore gloves so she wouldn't froze everything she touched.

Anna saw her for the first time after a lot of years and there, Anna decided she wanted to marry some guy she had just met because she thought she was "already in love". That made Elsa angry and suddenly, one of her gloves fell and her power was found out. Everyone got scared and so Anna did.
Elsa ran away and went to the mountains, where with her own power she created a whole ice castle that wouldn't undo. She was sad, but at the same time she felt free.

Anna went after her and left the city under that guy she had just met. On her way, she met another guy with his pet and he promised her he would help her find her sister. They lived some adventures and they met Olaf, a snowman so cute.

Finally, they found Elsa, but she was pretending to be angry and tried to convice them that she wanted to be there alone. During the movie, there are some problems and at the end, Anna finds out that boy she wanted to marry isn't what she thought.

At the end of the movie, Elsa injures Anna again accidentaly and her heart starts to froze again. She starts to have her hair white, like Elsa, and she starts to not have energy. She is about to die frozen, but finally Elsa arrived, and hugs her and she lives again.

So the movie, obviously, has beautiful happy ending.

I really loved this movie and I'm not ashamed anymore to say it. I cannot wait to have free time again and watch it !

LONDON'14

Exactly one week ago I was in London. I went on a trip with school to spent four days there, visiting and enjoying one of the most beautiful and well known places in the world.

We had to be at 3am in front of our school on Thursday morning, so we could get to be in Barcelona airport at time and take the plane at 8am. For that, I woke up at 2am and I got ready and I reviewed everything was okay. On a normal day I would have hated waking up that early but to be honest I woke up happier and with more energy than in any other day.
The normal thing would have been to sleep in the bus on our way to Barcelona, but my friend and I were too excited for all, so we talked all the time.
At the aiport, we all played some games until it was time to go.

When we arrived in London, the first thing we did was go to the hotel and take a look at it. Actually I was quite scared about what were we going to see there, because we hadn't seen pictures on the Internet of the rooms with bathrooms. But everything was okay because we had bathrooms in the room. It was all white, pink and purple, which made me feel very comfortable because my room is white and pink, and I love those colours and combinations.

We visited a lot of important things and had free time everyday to go on our way, which I really loved. We would wake up every day very early to have breakfast and then we wouldn't arrive to the hotel until very late hours, so I fell asleep very quickly every time. Which made me sleep in the bus coming back to my town and sleep the following morning after the trip.

We had been praying for good weather because we all know the weather British people have. I had been comparing every single day for two weeks the weather we had to theirs, and it was quite similar to ours and they had had kind of hot days like us. But the days before we all got scared because according to our phones, it was going to rain every single day. Even my English teacher, who is from England, told me "England without rain isn't England". But as days passed, weather changed. And at the end, we would only have rain for like some minutes everyday and it wasn't that much. Unless the first night, where almost no one had an umbrella (neither me and Léna, but we had bought one earlier because we forgot ours in Spain), and it rained heavily. But we didn't mind a lot because we were all the time thinking "now we are in England, and we have to enjoy it no matter what". And so we did!

Using pounds wasn't that difficult to be honest. The only thing was that currencies don't have written the number as big as we have but they have it written with little letters, so the first days we would be reading all the time the currencies. But we ended up recognizing them, fortunately.

We are so many people in my grade, but not every one went. Actually, we were not more than 30 people I think, and there was people of my grade and the one year older one. From this last grade I only knew one girl, and now I kind of know more of them personally, not only their names. And from my year, the people that went are those I know I can talk with and trust them. They are really nice people and we all are always making parties together with big groups, etc. And, there were two of my besties! So it was awesome!
The teachers that came with us, Sonia, Milco and Eli are all very nice and I'm sure that made the trip be cool and not with bad moments like sometimes happens because of some mean teachers... I'm thankfull they were who accompained us.

I loved everything we did, and I loved everything there. I guess when you like a country, you like bascially everything from there but yeah. But one of the things that surprinsingly I really loved was the Hamleys toy shop. Yes, toy shop. At first, when one of my friends that had had been there before told us to go to a toy shop I was like "what", but when I came in and I saw that enorumous shop with different floors I was shocked. The staff were pretending to be so happy all the time, with a big smile in their face and so sympatheic. Each floor was of some different things. For example, one floor was all pink, with girly things and like bascially a paradise for little childs (and me). Then another one would be with sweets, another with teddies, magic... and some incredible things. In each one of these, there were like stalls with staff that showed you something they wanted to sell, and I don't usually fell in these things but, I did in one of those. I really love that place... It was like paradise!

Preparing the case the night before didn't feel good at all. I didn't want to come back to Spain, because 1. I don't like Spain and 2. I love England. And waking up the following morning knowing that I was going to sleep in my country that night didn't feel good either. And going to the aiport and taking the plane was the worst. My bestie and I really didn't want to come back. But we had to.

As you may know, lately it's been getting famous the "selfie game". Since we have the front camera in phones, everyone takes pictures with it, but no one called it taking a selfie until approximately one year ago. And, to be honest, my friends and I are kind of obsessed with selfies. We are taking selfies all the time and there is no day we are together and we don't take a selfie. I have a bunch of selfies in my phone, because casually we take all of those with my phone.
Well, London wouldn't stop us from taking selfies so... yes, you can imagine.

selfies with my friends and Sonia!

I really enjoyed this trip and I cannot wait to go back to that beautiful country as soon as possible. Hopefully, to live there.

Positive mind

Everyone has problems, no one has a perfect and easy life. Lately people (and I include myself) tend to

think their life suck when something bad or unusual happens, believeing that everything around sucks too, like if that thing -big or little- involved everything else to suck too.

I've always been this kind of girl that would think her life is horrible because of a little thing that ocurred to me. I would only see the negative side of everything, forgeting the good one. If something bad or that I don't like it happened, I would immediately see everything dark and think my life is the worse, not accepting to see that life is not only that.

Everyone is always trying to find happiness when we already have beautiful things around us, all the time. Maybe they are little, and they are not beautiful for everyone, but perhaps for you it is. You just have to look at it with different eyes. There is this quote that says "People wait all week for friday, all the year for summer and all the life for happiness.", and how true is this?
I think everyone has this moment in their life where they realize you don't have to wait for things to happen but you have to go to get those things. And you cannot wake up every morning with a negative mind; you have to wake up with positivity, thinking that everything is possible and not waiting for the perfect things. I mean, most of the people is always waiting for the happiness to get them. They are waiting to become happy but what they can't see is that happiness is something mental. And with this I don't talk for everyone but for people who lives in developed countries and have, more or less, a proper life.

A while ago I realized I couldn't be sad anymore. We all have our up and downs, and that's what life is made for, but they don't last for ever. When you succeed in something, then you have to turn the page and start a new chapter. And you cannot start that chapter with a close and negative mind but open and positive. Everyone prefers to be with happy people that are always smiling than with sad people that are waiting for happiness to get them.

For example, there is this girl that tries to see the good side of things and there is the other girl that is eternally waiting for happiness. If one little thing that is not good happens, the first girl would react in a totally different away comparing to the second one. A stupid example: it's Saturday afternoon and starts to rain. The first girl may get sad but would try to see the good side like it is a perfect afternoon to watch a movie while the second girl would be sad and spend a depressive afternoon because it didn't go like she expected.
It's all about how we see the world.

It would be very beautiful to go to sleep every day thinking "What am I thankful for today?", and try to think about all the amazing things that have happened that day. Because life is not perfect, neither we are, but we must try to see the good side of life because otherwise we are wasting it. And we only live once.
So next time you are sad, try to find the beautiful side because life is amazing.

Miley Cyrus

All of us know about Miley Cyrus, also known as Hannah Montana for basically all the world. She started with this serie when she was 14 and she was only a preteen. She was famous all over the world and I dare to say that probably more than half of the girls (like childs back then) used to watch it. The episodes were funny and personally I really loved it.

When us, the girls that used to watch it, became older there was that tipical tropicl like if you watch Hannah Montana you are a child, and no one wants to be a child when you are in high school because everyone wants to get older and become a teenager as soon as possible. Mostly of the people stopped watching the series and in 2011 Hannah Montana stopped recording, it was over.

But Miley Cyrus didn't stop singing. She kept recording and making her songs and her fans kept following and supporting her no matter what. But she wasn't super famous back then.

Miley grew up, she got older and was engaged to an actor, but things happened and they broke up. Miley wasn't ready for this at all and suddenly her songs showed a part of Miley people didn't know yet.
Not even a year ago now Miley released a video called We Can't Stop, a video where she appeared a bit provocative and sensual, apparently mentioning drugs and alcohol. From this, almost all the world started to talk about her and criticize her, saying awful things. But she didn't mind a lot and months later recorded a video called Wreaking Ball where she appeared even more provocative. Apparently this song was made indirectly to his ex, because he hurted her a lot. One of the things she says is "Don't you ever say "I just walked a way, I will always love you". And people criticized her a lot again. Until one day she said in front of a camera that she only grew up and that she only shows what teens do but no one tells. People criticized her for appearing almost naked and all she said was that they couldn't understand because what that video showed is that she ended up like with nothing with all the pain of the break up. The truth is that there is so many other celebrities that do music videos similar to these but they are not judged because they've been doing this since always. What I think is, Miley only grew up and all of us have seen her do it, the problem here is that people judge her because they remember her as the little girl but she is not a girl anymore! People don't stay little for ever. She is mature enough. No one criticizes Rihanna or Shakira or Beyonce, but everyone criticizes Miley. Why? Can't she be what she is or does she have to pretend something she is not only to please people? Then she would be fake, huh? Some people should clear their mind and take care of their own business!!

Judgemental generation

When you are a teenager it's "normal" that you take care a lot of what you wear and do and we trend to judge people so fast by anything. A lot of people do that when they are little, when they are adult and when they are old, but the stage that does this more is the young one.

Teenagers tend to check other people from head to feet, criticizing their flaws and judging them. When they are in group they tend to make laugh of people and ridiculize them, like if they were perfect or something when they are not. It's hard to not be like this if you get easily attached to what people think and you think other people's opinion are more worth than yours, and this is something many people think nowadays. So if one person, for example, the "lider", the "popular" one at school thinks something someone is wearing is not cool, then everyone seems to not think it neither. Every single person has their own ideas! Some people should focus on what they think and not on what other people think!
But opinions are not always good. Mostly they are negative and affect other people. There is no need to make someone feel unworth or to make they think they are doing something wrong just by wearing some clothes or because they are how they are. Everyone is different and no one should criticize anyone.

What magazines post in their covers is what people follows. The current society's idea of a beautiful body is thin, super skinny. To be beautiful you must have a perfect hair all the time, a perfect make-up on, beautiful eyes and perfect lips; if you are not like that, then you are not beautiful.
Seriously? Even though this is seems to be changing lately.

From all of this, this generation, my generation, is always caring about how do they look like and are worrying all the time if they are what it's apparently "good". It has arrived to that point where people is comparing themselves to other people all the time. They see only their flaws and tend to think that what other people have is better than theirs (if not then it's horrible and the worst). They spend they life suffering, thinking that they are not good enough and that they have to look specially in one way to be understood, love or whatever. I'm not talking about every single person but mostly, about more than half of the teenagers.

To be honest, I'm a bit judgemental but with the person that I'm more judgemental is with myself. Obviously I look at other people even though I don't like to do it that much but when I see something I don't like I don't go directly to judge it, I just respect it because it's obvious I can't like everything; I know there is people that don't like maybe my clothes but there is no reason to judge. Everyone wears what they like and that is it.
If I see something I don't like of someone, I take a look at myself and all I do is check and see if I'm not like them, but just to myself. There is no need to make someone feel uncomfortable.
I think everyone should take care of themselves and not care about what other people is doing. If I could talk to the world I would tell everyone to look for them, take care of what they wear and what they do but never compare themselves to other people. Every person is different and no one is better than the other so there is no need to feel unworth or something. If there is something you don't like about yourself then go and change it, but don't be comparing all the time to other people because then it won't be you, it will be another person but not you.

On the internet there is so many people that gives their opinion on multiple things. In Youtube there is a bunch of videos and one I've seen recently is Chris Collins' one. I totally agree with his opinion and as he is from the same generation as me, all he says is so accurate:

Accents

It's incredible how without knowing other languages we can have an idea of how do they pronounce words and talk. For example, if I tell you to do mexican accent you would directly do some kind of "heyyy whazzupppp" or whatever because I don't know how to express the pronunciation but I'm pretty sure you would do something I would do too and everyone would. And why? If we don't even know a word from that language. When we hear someone talking in another language we directly have an idea of how do they talk. It's like every country has a topic everyone from other countries see and get unless when you are from that country. Haven't you ever wondered how does people see your language?

In this video, this man tried to do the accent of different countries in the world in English. It's very funny and Spanish one is in minute 3:05. So embarrassing!!! Is this how the world sees us?!

With this video below I laughed a lot. He teaches British people how to talk like a Spanish person.

And I can relate myself with this video because that is exactly what I would do. So funny.

Wees vrolijk

One of the greatest things from last summer is that I met some incredible people from Holland and France. I worked in a supermarket but I went to night clubs and one of the clubs I went is next to a camping full of dutchies so I met so many people from Holland. I got their numbers and talked to them during summer, even though I've stopped talking to some of them. But with one of them I still talk and I talk to her everyday actually. She has became a very good friend and I feel like I can tell her everything because 1. she is not from here and can't tell anyone here and 2. she is a really nice girl. She tells me everything and I tell her everything, and it has came to the point where we are like online bestfriends (?), yet I have my bestfriend here who I can talk face to face and I talk to her everyday too and she basically knows everything about me.

This girl Tessa is from a little town from Holland and she is from the same year as me. She is funny and she is quite similar to me, which is great! We talk in English because obviously she cannot talk Spanish nor Catalan and I cannot talk Dutch, but she knows a lot and we can communicate with each other without problems. In The Netherlands they are teached so well English and I would dare to say that everyone knows English good, not perfectly but so good that they could go to England and move around all the capital without problems, not like more than half of the people in Spain.
She has been there for me and the same I have and from her I met a friend of her which I've been talking too and in English too. He knows a lot of English as well and I think probably here is where I realized they know a lot of English because well, it's normal that Tessa knows English because she likes One Direction like me but that a guy knows a lot of English without liking so much a band that needs to understand it's not very common, at least here!

With Tessa and with other girls from Holland we send letters to each other like for Christmas or any other day of the year. It's so cool receving cards from other people from the world ! Tessa sent me a magnet from Amsterdam and it's very beautiful! I'm going to send her something soon!

From Tessa and Jurre I've learnt some Dutch vocabulary and it's awesome! I cannot pronounce any of those words because even though I've tried it several times they always tell me sincerely I don't pronounce it good haha! Sometimes I'm almoooost, but no.

Goedemorgen! Hoe gaat het? Mijn naam is Esther en ik hou van jou.
Haha I'm not sure if it's correct but at least I tried to say "Goodmorning! How are you? My name is Esther and I love you"

I know words like goodmorning, goodnight, how are you and to answer this, thank you and welcome, love, i love you, my name is, me too, honey, darling, you too, be happy, life is life and some words to make laugh of someone in a nice way and to say bon appetit. It's not that much but I'm happy with that!

I only hope one day I can fly to Amsterdam or their town to meet them because I really have a good friendship with them and we could really have a very nice time together! Plus I love Amsterdam and I want to visit that place so badly!

MAGCON boys

These past months the app called Vine has became more and more famous everytime to the point where Facebook is full of pages with these videos and almost everyone with a Facebook account watch them. These videos last 6 or 7 seconds and are basically to make people laugh or to describe a moment in your life that you may think you are the only one but that you are not.

In America these videos are very famous, more than here in Europe or any part of the world. Americans make so many videos relatable to our lifes and some of them are really funny. To be honest, I only have Facebook to check these videos, even though I have the Vine app on my phone and I'm all the time in it. It literally can make my day whenever I'm feeling down.

Some months ago my friend showed me one of this viners and told me she liked him a lot because he is so funny. This is Brent Rivera and I'm pretty sure you've seen a video of him because his vines are very relatable. From here, I started to follow him and I saw he appeared some times with more guys who had an account of videos too, so I started to follow them and saw the they are a group of boys from different zones of America (Los Angeles, Toronto, Omaha...) and they meet and make tours to meet their fans. Some of them have talents like playing instruments or singing, and the others have a really cool imagination to make videos.

I could say I'm "obsessed" with these lads because they are not stupid but like they were because they do some really dumb things but that makes me laugh everytime which I love it. So I'm always checking their videos on Instagram, Vine and Youtube (because they are youtubers too) and whenever I'm feeling moody or sad I watch their videos and the pain or sadnes goes away a bit.

So I would tell you to check some of their videos because they are actually really funny to me. I should tell you too that not everyone thinks they are funny and think they are kind of immature boys and that they are not funny at all!

In this video there are some of them and to be honest it's not really funny and I've never seen it all because I get bored but here it is.

Dolphins

If I could be an animal I think I would like to be a dolphin; they are very beautiful and cute.

Since I was little I've always liked dolphins. I remember I used to want everything related t o these beautiful animals, and until my sister was born, I got everything i wanted.
I wouldn't be being honest if I said dolphins are free. They are used in zoos for looking at and for shows and, even though I always thought they were happy doing that, now that I think about it probably they are not. I feel sorry for them, and basically for all the animals because what a sad life being stuch in a jail -most of the times little- for many years.
I've always liked going to see the dolphins and their shows, and I still have a memory from my childhood when I used to go to the zoo; I always went to see a dolphin called Anouk and I had pictures of him.

I barely remember it but apparently when I was little I told my parents I didn't want to be called Esther but "Dolphin", which is so pathetic. It seems like they did call me "Dolphin" for a whole day, but that I got tired and I hated that and I told them to stop calling me that.

Mireia's birthday

Two weeks ago was my friend's birthday and obviously Meritxell, Anna, Edith and I decided to make a big party. We planned a dinner, invited all of our friends and told them the plan.

Anna and Meritxell prepared everything and we all met at 9:30pm at Anna's house. The birthday girl, Mireia, came around 10pm; we were all tired of waiting because she was supposed to come at 9:45pm even though it was worth waiting.
When she arrived we all screamed "Happy birthday!". She had expected Edith and I to be there becuase the five of us always make parties to each other but she was surprised of 16 people being there specially for her.

For turns we went upstairs to prepare some pizzas and we had such a great time. We gave her our special and hiliarous gifts and hors later three cars came to pick us to the night club (our parents). We danced all together all night long. That was a perfect night.

Approximately at 4:30am Anna's father came to take us to a flat they have and Mireia, Meritxell, Anna and I slept there. Unfortunately that night Edith couldn't stay with us. We were very tired and went directly to sleep.

The following morning we woke up and had breakfast. I felt really disgusting with myself; I needed to take a shower immediately! I can't take the feeling after a party... After all the make-up you're wearing, the parfum and everything...

That day was awesome! And for sure we are going to do it again soon.

Princess Helen

My little sister's name is Helen and she is 11 year-old. She is doing the last year at school and the next year she is going to start high school (I can't believe it!!!!!).

She is quite tall for her age and very thin. Her hair is very beautiful and years ago it used to be like gold, even though now it's a colour like between blond and brown. Her eyes are like mines; they go from blue to grey, to green, to turquoise... It all depends of the light. I mean, I'm not sure how it goes on her but for example if it's very sunny they are blue and if there is no many light they are like green, etc. It's really cool having eyes like this!

My sister likes to wear simple things (still) to school. She doesn't mind a lot of the colours she use and such, and she wouldn't ever wear the clothes lately 12 year-old girls are starting to wear!! Like no, she is not like that at all. She prefers to wear t-shirts and jeans, even though lately she is starting to wear accessories!
I'm very happy she is not of that kind of girls that want to show everything when they have nothing, like can't they see they are still little?!

Helen is a happy girl. She is always smiling and she is very shy -with people that are not from family and friends. When she is at home, she is like a badass yet when we are with all the uncles and aunts and cousins she is like the shy and cutie girl. Actually she is a good girl but I mean, she does what the hell she wants when no one is around.
Our relationship has gone through different stages; when she was born I was 5 years old and I was always with her. This lasted some years until I was around 12 years old (I guess when I was starting high school and I was a pre-teenager) and there I started to talk to her in a mean way and so she reacted and years later, that is what she does. But approximately one year ago I realized she is my sister and that I can't treat her like how I was doing it so I decided to change because I didn't like how I was. And I think she noticed because our relationship is getting better and better, which is great and I love it !! It's awesome. She is still young but I can see how she is getting older and that is perfect.

My sister studies a lot. She has very good marks and doesn't like to have bad results. So she studies and does the homework when it has to be done so she can watch TV and spend time with her friends and playing because that is what she really loves! I think right now her hobbie is to watch Disney Chanel the whole time (but Disney Chanel is not as cool as it was when I was her age!!!!!!)

Since she was little, she's been doing many activites aside of school. Since the age of 2, she's been swimming and she still does it. She also danced a typical catalan dance for many years and balet for a few. She played basketball for many years even though then stopped for a while, but this year she is back to it and she plays almost every weekend! And I go to see her to every single one of the matches.

I think my sister is a very funny person. She likes to laugh and she likes to be the one who makes people laugh too. My mum told me my sister looks after me, which surprised me but it feels good! I guess this is one of the reasons I started to try to be a better person because I want her to become the greatest person ever. Sometimes she makes me get so angry and so I do to her, but this is what sisters do, isn't it? I wouldn't change her for anything in this world. She is one of the most important things I have in this life and she is one of the little number of people that have never failed to me when I was in my worst time. She is my favourite princess in the world. I love her so much.

Easy drugs and alcohol

For many years in our culture, teenagers have started to drink alcohol and smoke very early, but lately it seems like it's even earlier.

Bascially in all the continents, you can see how 13 year-old pre-teenagers start to drink alcohol and get drunk, which is not a very healthy choice because they haven't grown up yet. This can create problems that are difficult to solve.

It gets very easy for teens to take drugs and in some places they can buy cigarettes and alcohol by themselves. They probably think they are old and mature enoough to do these things but they are not at all. If it's prohibired it's because it's dangeruos and can harm your body and organs, not to make you angry.

For example here, when it's carnival and everyone goes out, I cann see people very drunk around me, and they are not 20  (which is young too), they are 12 or 13! And every year there are boys and girls in the ambulances because they've had a bad reaction to alcohol or drugs, and that is very dangerous. I know many people that have a bad reaction and they were in a very dangerous state.

I think our society is used to do things earlier each time because us, the humans, want to try and do new things but some of the things are very dangerous !!!! If we do the things we're supposed to do when we are older, then when we are older what are we going to do?

Always a good time !

Finally, last night was the premiere of the movie The Hunger Of Games and I went to the movies to watch it. I was very excited because I had waiting for so long to it !

Josh, Jennifer and Liam
The Hunger Of Games it's a very well known movie that was released last year and it became very famous. Half of the world or more was waiting to the second part of the movie to come out and thousands of people went last night to watch it.

I went with some friends from school. They are very good friends and I love them all because I know them since I was little and they are these kind of people that are always smiling and laughing and saying funny things, which it's a thing I like a lot.

We decided to meet at 9pm at the cinema so before the movie started one hour later, we could eat something as dinner in a bar. Angelina and I arrived and Anna, Marcel, Jana, Miquel, Nil and Adriana were already there. We talked and laughed a bit and bought our tickets because there was so many people there and we were pretty sure they were there to watch the same movie as us and we didn't want the tickets to be sold out before we got ours. Then we went to order our sandwich and minutes later Silvia and Ferran arrived.

There was a lot of people in the movies. We were all very excited ! Some of us had read the book so they knew what was going to happen, but, as good friends, they didn't say anything.

We bought our popcorn, sweets, cokes... and then we entered to the hall. It had been so many time since I saw the hall that full! With the crisis and remembering that it costs 7-8 €, not many people goes to the cinema.

The movie was very interesting. I had been wondering for months what was going to happen because I couldn't imagine! And it surprised me. In my opinion, it's a very good idea but the end of the movie it's one of those that makes you feel restless for days because you have no idea what it's going to happen.

I really cannot wait for the third part! All of us were like "we want to see the following part now!", but yeah, it was the premiere so we have to wait like a year or more? Awe...
The actors are all good! Jennifer Lawrence is lovely and beautiful, Liam Hemsworth is lovely and beautiful too and Josh Hutcherson is lovely, beautiful and was my first crush ! The first time I saw him was in "Zathura: A Space Adventure", where he was 13 year-old and I was 8. Now that I'm thinking, probably I saw the movie years later because I don't think I started having crushes at the age of 8.. But he was my first crush, that's for sure!
Now being serious, they are all very good young actors and I'm sure they are going to keep doing movies for many years ! They are not just lovely and beautiful but talented, which it's the most important thing.

The movie lasted more than 2 hours and as we took the session of 10:15pm, I arrived at home approximately at 1am. I've slept a lot !!!

I had such a good time. The people I went with are people I really value and I don't want to lose. Normally, when I go to the cinema, I go with one or two friends, or maybe with the girls, but never with them. And I hope we go to the cinema together soon!!! We saw announced so many cool movies so yeh, we have to repeat it !
