Do you remember that 12th january of 2010, where in Haiti there was a big earthquake? That earthquake of 7.0. It was one of the worst earthquake ever and there were like 230.000 deads.

We Are The World was a song recorded on the 1th february of 2010 and there colaborated more than 75 famous musicians, after the Grammy Awards.
In the enormous musicians list we can see famous celebrities you may know like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Enrique Iglesias, P!nk, Usher, Nick Jonas, Lil Wayne, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, Jamie Foxx or Will.i.am. And even Michael Jackson died some months before, he was included singing part of the song with her sister.

The official video includes at the beginning a part where Jamie Foxx talks a bit about for what the song is it for and asks us to help with anything we can although it's big or small. After this, the song start playing and a image with the musicians firms appears. Then, short videos of how it was Haiti after the earthquake and few seconds after, Justin Bieber starts singing. In the following five, six minutes, more than seventy celebrities sing a little part of the song.
Is a video with lots of images and short videos of Haiti. It shows the people, how they live, how the houses are after the terrible earthquake.


I can remember perfectly when did it happen. I was 12 and I remember how scared I was. Everyone was talking about it, that terrible and scary accident that was killing hundred of innocents persons. And the worst was that we couldn't do a lot to help them. It's true that there was people that flew to there to help, but not me. I don't know, maybe if I went there I would have psychological problems. I don't think I could support to see all these tragedies.


Now lots of people have forgotten what happened three years ago, but I think It is because no one talks about it in the TV.
In my opinion, we should remember what happens in our world. Maybe big things, maybe little, but there are hundreds of things like that and we ignore them.


I enjoy a lot to see all that people together singing the same song with the intention to help and, the song is great!

Kinder surprise

Kinder surprise is something that reminds me of my childhood. My mother didn't used to buy me kinder surprise but yes my grandmother. Everytime I went to my grandparents house there was a kinder surprise there waiting for me to eat it. It was gorgeous!

I used to go to my grandparents house once a week, and there was where I had my little "surprise". 
My sister and I used to be so exited everytime we opened the kinder to see the toy, the puzzle or whatever it was while eating the tasty, delicious and perfect chocolate. That chocolate that if it was sunny you had to pay attention and eat it very fast because if you didn't, the chocolate would be everytime hotter and finally like a hot chocolate. Now I remember... It has gone years since I don't eat one! 

If I was the first of all of my cousins to go to our grandparents house, I could see always their kinders surpirses, and we are eight cousins. All the kinders surprises on the table were like... I want all of them!!!! But we couldn't. 

I can remember that I wasn't that tipe of kid that loves totally the chocolate and lots of times I gave mine to my sister. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate? Lots of you would love to have that, but if I had that my stomach would hurts so much. Just eating a little piece of it my stomach automatically hurts. I don't know why, it's strange. 

But anyway, we all know kinder surprise is one of the best chocolate ever, isn't it?

The perfect dress for the perfect night

I've always wanted to go to one of those parties at the end of the course, when the lifes of all the boys and girls are going to change completely because everyone is going to change of high school, place or whatever. Those parties where the girls are extremely anxious to go and where they all buy their dresses like six months before or more. Those parties where they divide the tasks and each person does something different: somes prepare the music, others the lights, others the food, others the decoration... Where all the boys have to find a girl to invite to go to the party and where at the end there's always a King and a Queen. 

This is so typical in american films, but it is also in other countries. I'm just so sad and disappointed because here, in Spain, people I don't know why ignores it so bad. Lots of the boys from here I bet they think it is a stupid thing and they wouldn't go, and lots of the boys that would go would dress with tracksuits or with orange, red, blue or green jaquets with an Adidas or Nikes. Lots of the girls would wear shorts, tights and ugly skirts with leopard decorations or something like that. I truly can't understand the mind of this country. 

I know there's people who think like me, and who would like to wear nice dresses or nice clothes. 

Since I'm little I've seen lots of teenager's flims with a party like that. It looks so nicely. The girls are so nervous and also the boys. I'd like so much to have one of this parties but I know It would never be a party like these ones. 
I think if we ever have a party like this, a bit number of the students would help to make it one of the best parties ever. But if for some strange but faboulous reason we have a perfect party, there would be always a thing missing of a american party, and is that they can drive cars at the age of 16 and here the boys can just drive motorbikes. 


I bet lots of girls have dreamed with this. Can you imagine a nice party where you need to wear a nice dress and nice highs? Where all your friends also need nice dresses and nice highs? Where the boys you've seen like minimum four years would wear a nice suit and a nice patent leather shoes (maybe?) ? 
Oh, It looks so amazing. 

There are thousands and thousands of perfects dresses. There are lots of kind of dresses out there. There are short dresses, longs, mediums... But all of them are nice, lots of times. 





If I ask you which kind of dress would you wear, which would it be? I think I'd decide for this kind of dresses. And yes, maybe I would decide for a colour of this style, it's my favourite!

La magie de Paris

I've been two times in Paris, but I don't know why lately I want to go there so much!

The first time I went there I was 7, but I wasn't that exited because I just wanted to go to Disney Land Paris. I went there with my family and another family with a van of seven. There was another member, but he was inside his mom, she was pregnant. 
I was 7, my friend 6 and my sister 2, so we were too little and our parents couldn't do lots of things because we got tired so fast. 
We went like two or three days to Disney Land Paris and I enjoyed so much! We were the happiest kids in the world! 

The second time I went there I was 13, and I don't know why I used to hate french and I wasn't that exited again. I wasn't exited to go to Disney Land Paris and to Paris. 
I went again with my family and the other family. Then we were four childs, not three. I was 13, my friend 12, my sister 7 and the other one 6, so this time who was exited to go to Disney Land Paris were my sister and the little one. 
We went six days there, three days we stayed in Paris and the others three days in Disney Land Paris. But this time our parents decided to go first to Paris because if we went first to Disney and then Paris, we would be so tired and unbearable. So if we went first to Paris, we would be great because if we wouldn't, we wouldn't go to Dinsey. 
So we were the best childs ever! 
But I didn't enjoy completely. I was just 13 and I hadn't start enjoying going to visit museums and famous things yet.


But now, when I remember how amazing the Lubre's museum was and how beautiful the city was, I just want to be there.
Even when I went there it was raining, I liked it so much. I think Paris is one of the cities that is beautiful even if it's raining.

I'd like to go again. Now I am older and I'm interested in history and culture. I think I would enjoy more the Lubre's museum and I'd like to go again to the Eiffel Tower. 

I'd like to go to a bar and eat a great cupcake with this hot chocolate undone from Paris and a coffe while watching the Eiffel Tower! Or a typical crepe! Mmmmh...
Don't you think it would be great? 

Now I'm trying to persuade my mother because she also loves Paris and I'm telling all the time things of there. 

I would love to go first to London, I hadn't been there for the moment but I know I will go there one day. 

Pyramus and Thisbe

This last week I discovered a new thing. We were in Latin class, and we were reading the story of Pyramus and Thisbe. When we finished reading it, we all thought it was a smiliar version of Romeo and Juliet, and we asked to the teacher if Shakesperare based his story in Pyramus and Thisbe and she said yes!

I bet 85% of the population don't know about who is Ovid. Truly, I didn't know who he is until few days ago. He is the author of Pyramus and Thisbe.


Pyramus and Thisbe is about two neighbours whose their families hate each others. The only son of one of the families and the only daughter of the other one knew each other since they were little but they hadn't talked before.
One day they saw a crack in the wall. They started talking between this crack and finally they decided to meet at night near a source.
Thisbe arrived first, but while she was waiting for Pyramus, a lion which had just killed and ate an animal and was with all her mouth with blood appeared. Thisbe was freaked out and she run away until the lion left. But while she was running, her veil dropped and the lion played with it and left it all with blood.

Then Pyramus arrived, and didn't saw Thisbe but the bloody veil. He thought she was death, so he took his dagger and killed himself. His blood made the blackberries became red when before this, all the blackberries were white.
But Thisbe was still there, hiden behind a rock. Then, she decided to go out and see if Pyramus was alive. But when she arrived there, she saw Pyramus death. She saw him with the dagger in his hand. Also she saw how the blackberries were now red because of the blood and said that since that moment, all the blackberries would be red. Then, she took Pyramus' dagger and killed herself by his side. They were all death.

Finally, the two families decided to bury the bodies together.



Now you can see how smiliar Romeo and Juliet's story and Pyramus and Thisbe's story are.
Everybody know about Romeo and Juliet and a little number of the population know about Pyramus and Thisbe.


I liked so much to know the first version of the idea of Romeo and Juliet, now I just hope there's not an older version of Pyramus and Thisbe !!!

Another romantic song

In one of my posts I talked about a romantic song ( http://estherlivewhilewereyoung.blogspot.com.es/2013/01/a-romantic-song.html ) which includes basic things about romantic songs and films. But the song I chose doesn't have lots of things that show the basic elements.

Two days ago I was listening to music and I think I found one which have more basic elements. It is called They Don't Know About Us, and it's from One Direction. I don't want you to think I'm a obsessed fan of One Direction because I talk so much about them, I just found the song and that's all!

This song talks about a boy who talks about his relationship with someone else, and they are happy together. They have nice moments and all is perfect. But there's just one thing wrong, and is that people around them don't like this couple and think they are too young to be together. 
What the boy does, in this case, is tell the girl that it's not important what the others say because they don't know what they do together, they don't know how they love each other and they don't know anything. 

I think the girl whose the boy is talking to is scared by the comments they are receiving and the boy is just trying to change her mind because as he says in the song, he has been waiting all his life to find a girl like her and he doesn't want to lose her. 

Basically, this song talks about a couple which is nice and the only problem they have is the people around them. 

Red Nose Day - One Way Or Another

Last night the boys from One Direction won a Brit in the Brit Awards! They are so happy! I bet they had a nice night and they are proud of their girls, or this is what I hope!! 

Also last night the british and irish boy-band of the moment published a new song called One Way Or Another, which it is to raise money for Comic Relief with the intention to help poor people. With this, part of the money they are going to save will go to this british charity. 


The song isn't invented by them. As you hear the song you will recognise it and you will know the melody. But even the song isn't made it by them, the video is very original and funny. It shows moments of the time they've spent in Ghana, a population from Africa. They spent some days there and lived with african people. 
The video also shows moments in New York, and this moments are from the frist week of december when they were in Madison Square Garden. And if you pay atention, you will see lot of japanese people. It is from some weeks ago when they were there in a television show!! 


In the video they appear with red noses. These red noses are just sings to identificate what they are doing. They call all of this the Red Nose Day.

Our carnival 2013

The last two weeks was carnival, it was such perfect!! 

I got dressed like a cheerleader, like a red cheerleader! 
I went with lots of my friends and there wasn't bad moments and troubles, so it was great! 

The first day we went to Sant Pere Pescador, and like it was the first night of carnival, I had lot of energy and I didn't stop moving, jumping, running, dancing... The night had gone too fast! 
I also had very nice time because there were all my friends and people I hadn't seen since months! 
When the night ended, Edith and I went to Angelina's house and we stayed there to sleep. We had spent all the afternoon there before the party and we spent part of the sunday's morning there too. We had fun! 

The following week we went to carnival from Empuriabrava and Castelló d'Empúries. Empuriabrava was so nice! Before the party, Meritxell, Anna, Mireia and I went to have dinner in a chinese restaurant next to there and when we finished, we went to the party. Then, when the party was ending, our parents took us to Castelló d'Empúries and we enjoyed a lot! We didn't stop dancing and singing the whole night! 

On Saturday we went to the party in Castelló d'Empúries. Before this, I went to Edith's house with Angelina and Carla. We spent the afternoon there talking and laughing all the time and at 10pm we went out and we started dancing, singing, jumping and running again. The night had gone like a shooting star!! Suddenly it was 5am! And we didn't stop dancing!!! It was incredible.

We went home, we slept until 10am and we went to Empuriabrava. There was carnival in the morning, but there wasn't nobody we knew. So we were a bit bored, but we spent the morning doing something different! 


I had one of the bests carnivals ever!!! It was p e r f e c t!!!  I would repeat it thousands and thousands of times! Monday morning all of my friends and I were sad because the good carnival had finished and we have to wait a whole year until carnival is here. That's too bad!
But anyway, this saturday is carnival in Fortià and maybe we will go there to say totally BYE to carnival. 

Just one dessert

If you could eat just one dessert for the rest of your life, what would it be? Difficult, but I bet something appeared on your mind when you read it. Which was? I think I'd decide something like a chocolate cake from Ikea, which is very, very, very good. It has a high flavor and smells perfectly! You should taste it! If you go to Ikea, you can buy it in the bar and eat it there or buy it for take home. You would die, It's perfect.
But another thing I think I'd decide It would be strawberries with chocolate. This isn't a thing you can eat always during all the seasons of the year and something that lots of people wait until they can eat it. 
Can you wait for eat it? 

But I'm sure It would be something with chocolate. Although I love fruit. I'd like to have something like melon, watermelon, apples too. It's difficult.

Holy Ground is a song written by Taylor Swift. It is about like a flashback on a past relationship that have ended. It was a good relationship,and she has nice memories of it. 
In the song she says she'd like to dance, but she is only going to dance if is with him.

In my opinion, this is a nice song which talks about a relationship with an unknown end but with great memories. 

I like it song so much!! 

The Red Band Society

The Red Band Society is a catalan television show, knowed by everyone as Polseres Vermelles.

Polseres Vermelles is a television show which it's about a group of five members who they all are in the hospital by differents problems. At the begining they don't know each others, but during the seasons they start meeting and finally become a group. They do all for their friends, and they are by their side when they need it because they need someone so much. While they are fighting for win that war between the bad life or to die or their life, lots of things happens. 

They find the good things, they smile, they have fun, they try to enjoy their life. They find the love, the hate and all the feelings they can discover there. 

Polseres Vermelles is a TV show which made me see I'm so lucky to have this life. Also it made me open my eyes, see how I cry for stupid things like the boy I like ignore me or things like that while there are guys of my age or less that are with a big smile in their face everyday trying to win the cancer. 

I think everyone should see Polseres Vermelles. It's a TV show that show the real life in a hospital but at the same times the things that happen in the teen age years. 

Everytime I see a new chapter I cry. There's always something that make me cry. Maybe I'm too sensible, but the truth is that half of Catalonia, and now Spain and maybe America, cry like me with every chapter.

This TV show started on 2011, and the second season started last January 14th on TV3. 

Steven Spielberg and Marta Kauffman saw PV and they decided to make an American adaptation of it. So now people around the world are going to see Polseres Vermelles, or for them, The Red Band Society. What I don't know completely sure is if they will record it with new protagonists or they will just change their voices. I hope the last one! 

In my opinion, Polseres Vermelles is one of the bests TV shows ever. I repeat, everyone should see it. 

My New Year's Resolutions 2013

My New Year's Resolutions are simple. I just want to enjoy the time, smile all the time, be happy and not to be sad because of something stupid.

This is because last year it was a great year, but I spent lot of the time sad because of things that didn't worth it. So I decided to change this in my life.
Since 1th January I'm trying it and like is something I really want, It's easy to do it. And I'm living better, really. 

Also I decided to have a better diet. I can't say I haven't got because I have it, but I don't want to eat lots of things that have calories. 

One thing I'm going  to have constantly in my head is that if I want something I'll try to have it. I'll try to do all my best to get it and I'll never give up.
I think, you can't be sad because something you wanted did not became true when you didn't do anything to do it. You can't be sad because that thing didn't arrive without you moving a finger. You have to work to have it. There's people that say things like "the best things arrive when you work hard to have it" and maybe they are in true. 

Christmas 2012

Last Christmas were very nice. I did lots of things and I enjoyed a lot all the days.

Since 24th to 29th December I was in a park for kids in Castelló d'Empúries called Eixanaca. I'm doing this since two years and I really like it. There I play with kids of three years to twelve! It's very nice.

A part of being there, I also had lunches and dinners during that week. I had lots of presents, too! Well, I didn't have lots of presents, but I had some expensives. I like it more.

I did a party to my friend, which was perfect because she didn't know about it. It was like a secret party. I had fun!

The last thing I did in 2012 was going to Figueres with Angelina and have the last hot chocolate of the year. 

On 31th December I stayed at home all the day. I did nothing. It was great. 
At 11pm I was preparing my dress and my heels, and at 12:30am Angelina came to my house and we prepared ourselves to go to Sant Pere Pescador. There was a party! Shortly thereafter, my friends took we to there.
I enjoyed a lot the night! I danced all the night! It was hiliarous because when the song Gangnam Style started playing everyone on the track started to dance it. And while I was dancing I was laughing so hard.
There was lot of people of the school and now I can remember everyone dancing it. 
Also all of us danced I'm Sexy And I Know It and other famous songs.


The seven following days I spent the time going to the cinema, making an english project which I enjoyed a lot doing it and I had fun, going shopping... It was great!

And then 8th January arrived. I didn't want to come back to school. Not because of the school but because I don't want to study and stress.

One of my New Year Resolutions was to enjoy all the time and not be sad, and I'm trying to do it and since that moment, I'm happier! Try it!
