Easter wonder

Once upon a time, a little girl called Poppy was very very happy because finally had arrived her favourite time in the year: Easter. She used to live in a little town known as Eggietown. The whole town was very excited about these days and like every year, they made a big party for this time.

One morning, Poppy's family had the typical Easter breakfast. They were all together in Poppy's house and had a lot of fun. Her cousins Jamie and Tom and he twins Nicklas and Leonie came also to the party. For breakfast her mother made eggs with bacon, apple pie and a lot of special food for that day. They all loved mummy's food, she was a great cook!

After eating, the cousins went to the garden to look after the eggs. Their parents used to hide the eggs and chocolate rabbit for their kids and so they did that year too.

Poppy was afraid of the old story about the Easter witch; the story tells that long time ago, there was a little girl that used to love this time of the year. But that one year she went to the forest to find her easter eggs but her mother, a cruel woman with no love in her heart, had stolen all the eggs for her little daughter, so she couldn't find any. She was very sad and began to hate this time of the year which for her classmates was the most wonderful.

Since that day, people say that the girl enchanted all the easter eggs with a black point in the middle. The kids that find these special eggs are forever enchanted and are closed in this egg for a long long time. In these eggs, there is another world inside; and horrible place with a big castle in the middle of a dark forest. The witch lives there with her handsome son Prince Tristan and all her slaves which are the kids that one time had found her eggs.

Poppy ran away to search for her eggs -like she used to do every year- and she found the biggest one over a tree. It was a beautiful pink egg with a little black point in the middle. She could not resist to cllimb up the tree and take the beautiful egg to show it to her cousins, but before going down the tree something strange happened. After a few minutes she woke up in a forest: she was insde the egg.

She felt very lonely and she was sad, but suddenly a white horse with a young gentleman rode to her. It was love at first sight, but there, she didn't know he was the handsome son of the witch. Prince Tristan helped her to stand up and he brought her to his home. After a few minutes riding the horse, Poppy realized where she was: she was in the enchanted forest!

The witch asked her son to bring the girl to her castle to see her. The women already had a job for her, which was being the new cook for her son. Poppy knew that these were horrible news, but she was in love and she wanted to stay there with her Prince.

After a short time, the witch realized there was something special between both, so she sent Poppy back home. She woke up in her bed, and she couldn't remember anything from the last day. But she knew something was missing: her Prince.

Tristan couldn't live anymore without Poppy, so he fought with his mother and went out the egg to find his love. In this other world he wasn't anymore a prince: now he was the new boy of town.

On his first day of school, Poppy and Tristan fell in love because they noticed there was something special between them, like they had met a long time ago, and so they were happy forever and ever.

Myself

My name is Esther Delgado Lara and I'm 16 years old. I was born in Figueres but I've been living in Castelló d'Empúries since I'm 2 years old. I study in a high school in my town where I'm doing 1^st Batxillerat.

Claudia and myself

I'm a girl that as many teenagers, likes to spend her time listening to music, going shopping and being with her friends. I really like being with my friends, but it is true I love being alone as well. In my free time I basically do that: I go shopping, I listen to music and I'm with my friends, even though I like so much going to the cinema.

I'm a person that needs happy people around her. I need people making me laugh all the time and who can enjoy with the little things. Even my mum knows that! Once she told a guy “If you'd like to date my daughter, you must be someone happy who would make her laugh the whole time!”.

When I'm alone I like to close myself in my room, turn my laptop on and put the music very loud! Then, more than going to Facebook, I rather go to Twitter where, aside of supporting my idols and talking with fans around the world I learn english! And I learn a lot there.

I've been dancing ballet since I'm 4 years old. I can't say I'm good at it but I really love it. Lately I've been thinking how it is that I keep dancing because I always get tired fast of the things but I don't know why, I'm not tired of ballet yet. And it's been twelve years now!!

I don't really like studying. I hate studying. It is one of the things I hate most. I like learning but I don't like having to study and prepare myself for a test. I mean, I like to listen to new things and not be an ignorant but then I don't like to study it because I get so nervous and this is something I hate a lot. But I'm still here. I'm doing Batxillerat because seeing how is the world lately, I really don't want to go through something like that. I want to go to the university and make a career, then leave this country (finally) and start a new life far away from here. At least this is what I want and I'm going to do my best to take it.

Bye, Bye ESO

4 ESO is already finished and I'm really happy. We won't have any exams for a while and I really need it. But at the same time, I'm kind of sad because lots of my classmates won't study at the same high school as me or they are just leaving the school, what means I won't see them frequently. And this is something I hate so much because I've been studying with lots of them since I'm 2 years old and with others maybe just for four years but anyway, I'll miss them a lot. 







I'll leave lots of people here. This week is the last week with them and I'm not even going to school because I know lots of them are not going, so probably this is the end and I won't see them unless in parties and things like that. It really hurts me because in this school I have people I really love. Obviously there's people I'd like not to see again in my whole life but I can't make a perfect school. 
It's true I wanted to change of school, and I really hate myself because I didn't send the enrollment, but at the same time I'd like everything to stay how it is right now, how it's been the whole year. I really liked my class this year.

This is the end of obligatory education, what means from now everything I do is because I want. If I don't study or do homework, nobody will tell me anything. I'm growing up.

I'm growing up and I'm 16. I'm able to work and of course I'm able to go to night clubs and stay out for late. 
I'm just to start to decide my own decisions and I'm starting probably a new style of life. I wanted a change and maybe I'll have it. 
I have to say I'm scaring myself while writing this because I didn't realise all of this before, OMG. 




This is too much. In two years I'll go to the university (if all goes good) and I'll have a car and I'll be able to work in a serious work. No more stupid things, I'll be old.

I don't want to grow up. I want to stay a teenager for the rest of my life. I want to be 16 for ever, seriously. Why do we have to grow up? Why there's just one life to live and when you realise it you are just to die? 



Anyway, I've had a really nice time in the ESO. I laughed so much with people that is no longer in this school and people that yes they are. I've hated so much some teachers but I've liked a lot others. I'm really going to miss high school. 


And all of this is making me feel sad. I really wanted to finish school like all my classmates but, have they realized they won't see lot of people again? Just in parties and all of us know when you see someone in a party is like "Hey!! How are you? How is all?" and "Bye!! Nice to see you". There won't be any comunication between them. But I guess people that really worth it will stay in your life and who don't, just won't stay.

Conversation between a teacher and a student

In this conversation, Meritxell plays the role of the teacher and I play the role of the student.

Teacher: Hi students! We're going to start the class talking about...

Student: Oh, excuse me Miss. Scarlet. Could you explain again what we did yesterday, please?

Teacher: Why?! That you didn't listen?!

Student: Yes, yes, I did. But I don't understand the theory. 

Teacher: I won't repeat it because you always do the same. You never listen when I'm teaching. You are always talking and then you don't understand and want me to explain the things thousands of times. Always the same! I'm tired! 

Student: Oh, please Miss. Scarlet, I didn't. I promise.

Teacher: Excuses, everuthing are excuses.

Student: But you are my teacher and this is your job. Your obligation is to teach me and help me when I have some questions.

Teacher: As I've said, I won't repeat something I explained yesterday because you didn't listen to me!

Student: Okay, then don't be angry if we go to reinforcement classes.

Teacher: I don't care! Then don't you be angry with the final mark. And I'm not going to discuss more. 

10 years kidnaped

Approximatelly a week ago I was watching the news and I saw an horrorous notice but with a happy end. It had place in Cleveland, United States, where three girls that have been dissapeared for more than six years have escaped from the house where they were. 

Each disappearance happened in different years, but all of them were abducted between 2002 and 2004. The girls were 20, 17 and 14, and now they are 32, 27 and 23. 

The alleged creator of this facts is a men with spanish surnames (probably from South America) called Ariel Castro, who I'm pretty sure will go to the prison because he has charges. 
Also his two brothers have been questioned and will have charges, but I think no one of them will go to the prison, although both of them colaborated and knew about the girls and what his brother was doing.

The girls were in different rooms, so they were separated. They've said they knew other girls were there but they didn't know each other. 

Amanda Berry

One of the girls, Amanda Berry,  had a baby who is now six years old. In addiction, some neightbours have affirmed they saw several times the girls in the garden with a leash and naked, something that probably was because they were pregnant and so the girls could lose the baby. Also the captors would beat the women when they were pregnant for the same reason to kill the baby. At least five babies were born at the house and one of the girls had as many as three miscarriages because she was malnourished.
Once, the neighbours called the police and expalined when they have
been seeing, and when the police went to the house and knock on the door, no one opened. So they just went away.
It was 6th may when one of the girls, exactly the girl with a daughter, was at the other side of the door and started making blows in the door and screaming, asking for help. In that moment, two neightbours that were near heard the girl and went to the house and opened the door. They helped the girl and the little girl escape from that house and they called the police, who wasn't very comprensive and ignored the girl's words saying she was one of the disappeared girls and that she has been seen on TV lots of times because of that. And finally they listened her and the police went there. Then, they entered inside the house and they helped the other girls. Also they took evidences to discover more things.

One of the things they discovered was that the daughter of one of the girls used to go with the brothers to their grandmother's house, and this is something I don't understand because I saw her in the TV saying she was sorry of that and that she didn't know about it. But I wonder myself who did she think the girl was? Anyway, who knows who say the truth.

The first kidnaped girl said that when she arrived at the house, there was another girl in another room for a while but after she disappeared. And the truth is that while the years Castro used to kidnap the girls, another girl from the same zone disappeared. So maybe she hasn't got a nice end and she was killed, or maybe she killed herself, who knows.


Now, the girls have just started a long and difficult progress to adapt themselves to the normal life, even one of the girls I think has more psychological problems.


I am really sorry for them but at the same time happy. There's a big number of childs and teenagers that have been kidnaped and never been rescued. This is something very sad I will never understand.

In prison for two years

Last night before going to sleep I saw the newspaper on the table and I decided to read it. While I was reading the titles, I saw one that said two people will be in the prison for two days because they lived in a hotel without paying. Reading this, I was really interested to know what was that so I decided to read the whole notice. And I found it a bit funny. Maybe it's not, but the way that those persons acted surprised me. I really can't believe there's people in the world without shame.

Mas Salvi

The notice is about Monika Hurka and Hans Warner Stachowiak. It seems like on march 2009 they went to talk with the director of the hotel because they made like they were interested to buy the luxury hotel called Mas Salvi. It was on sale because of economic problems but the truth is that supposedly buyers didn't have money nor. 

They said their intention was to buy the hotel and to build there a music recording studio and on april 2009 they signed a document where they said they would pay 8,2 million for the hotel. For this, they asked the sellers to stay at the hotel for a while, and they stayed there since march 31th 2009 to july 28th 2010, approximately 359 days with 63.180 euros in the bill.

When they told the director they wouldn't buy the hotel, the director said they had to pay everything they have took and eaten, but they said they wouldn't. So last march 11th there was the trial because of that, and according the newspaper say, the judge, Fàtima Ramírez has imposed them a fine of six euros everyday and two years in the prison. And they are a bit lucky because the fiscal wanted to put on them three years of prison for each one. 

I'm pretty sure this is not exactly the notice but I generalized a bit. 
I laughed so hard the first time I heard the notice because the person who told me that was laughing so hard too. We couldn't believe there's people without shame, I would be really really really embarrassed doing that! And more if after all the time I'd say I wouldn't pay! It's unbelivable.
I know this is not something for laugh, because imagine if it happens to you... it's not going to be fun. But I am not laughing of the situation because it's so expensive 359 days having breakfast, lunch, dinner..., using the instalations and more and it's not something funny. I just found funny what they did and their reaction when they knew they have to pay. 


I hope never happens to me something like this!!!

Maverick Viñales suffers an amputation

Approximately, last 20th March Maverick Viñales, a Gran Prix motorcyle racer who was born in Figueres, had an accident that caused the amputation of the distal phalanx of the right ring finger. 

Maverick was training while the accident happened. He fell in a curve and there his hand was trapped under the motorcyle and in one of his fingers the nail fell. 

At the time, he was taken to the circuit's hospital and then he went to Barcelona where he was operated.

During all the day he was posting photos and saying he was good, so all of us were fine to see he was all right.

Romeo & Juliet- Edcanvas

Another romantic song

In one of my posts I talked about a romantic song ( http://estherlivewhilewereyoung.blogspot.com.es/2013/01/a-romantic-song.html ) which includes basic things about romantic songs and films. But the song I chose doesn't have lots of things that show the basic elements.

Two days ago I was listening to music and I think I found one which have more basic elements. It is called They Don't Know About Us, and it's from One Direction. I don't want you to think I'm a obsessed fan of One Direction because I talk so much about them, I just found the song and that's all!

This song talks about a boy who talks about his relationship with someone else, and they are happy together. They have nice moments and all is perfect. But there's just one thing wrong, and is that people around them don't like this couple and think they are too young to be together. 
What the boy does, in this case, is tell the girl that it's not important what the others say because they don't know what they do together, they don't know how they love each other and they don't know anything. 

I think the girl whose the boy is talking to is scared by the comments they are receiving and the boy is just trying to change her mind because as he says in the song, he has been waiting all his life to find a girl like her and he doesn't want to lose her. 

Basically, this song talks about a couple which is nice and the only problem they have is the people around them. 

A romantic song

Holy Ground is a song written by Taylor Swift. It is about like a flashback on a past relationship that have ended. It was a good relationship,and she has nice memories of it. 
In the song she says she'd like to dance, but she is only going to dance if is with him.

In my opinion, this is a nice song which talks about a relationship with an unknown end but with great memories. 

I like it song so much!! 

My New Year's Resolutions 2013

My New Year's Resolutions are simple. I just want to enjoy the time, smile all the time, be happy and not to be sad because of something stupid.

This is because last year it was a great year, but I spent lot of the time sad because of things that didn't worth it. So I decided to change this in my life.
Since 1th January I'm trying it and like is something I really want, It's easy to do it. And I'm living better, really. 

Also I decided to have a better diet. I can't say I haven't got because I have it, but I don't want to eat lots of things that have calories. 

One thing I'm going  to have constantly in my head is that if I want something I'll try to have it. I'll try to do all my best to get it and I'll never give up.
I think, you can't be sad because something you wanted did not became true when you didn't do anything to do it. You can't be sad because that thing didn't arrive without you moving a finger. You have to work to have it. There's people that say things like "the best things arrive when you work hard to have it" and maybe they are in true.
