COACHELLA

Right now is having place the famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. It's one of the most good known festivals in the United States and a lot of celebrities attend to the festival every year.

Coachella was founded by Paul Tollett in 1999, even though the festival's origins trace back to a concert that Pearl Jam performed at the Empire Polo Club in 1993. At first, in 1999, the festival lasted two days, and the following year there wasn't any festival. In 2001 the festival only lasted one day and again, in 2002 it lasted two days. In 2007 another day was added and in 2012 another weekend. So nowadays, Coachella lasts two weekends.

During these days people can camp on the grounds and that's one of the reasons a lot of people attends to this huge festival. In 2010, around 75,000 people came each day. Only last year, the festival two weekends grossed $67 million, which made it the highest-grossing festival ever. Obviously, the tickets aren't that cheap so that's why they gross a lot: a general pass costs around $375 and the VIP pass $799. But a lot of famous artists attend it during these days like Amy Winehouse, Snoop Dogg, Paul McCartney, Madonna, The Black Keys, Jay-Z and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Practically all young celebrities attend to this festival, like Harry Styles, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevigne, Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry, Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton... They all wear an indio style, which I personally think is so cool.

This year, Coachella started last weekend from April 11th to 13th and this is the last weekend, and it ends tomorrow.

I really hope one day I can attend Coachella personally, not Tomorrowland or something like that but Coachella. It's amazing and while these days everyone is posting pictures on the Internet I'm here stuck in this country.

Chloe Campbell is missing

Chloe Campbell, a three year-old Australian girl has been reported missing from her home Thursday at
7am, when her parents woke up and didn't find her.

Chloe's parents put her to bed and they went to sleep hours later, but when they woke up Chloe was missing and so were her blanket and teddy bear, and in addition the window was opened.

This little girl is blonde, with fair shoulder-lenght hair and she is 100cm tall, with some similuties to Madeleine McCann. Madeleine was also three years-old when she dissapeared and looked similar to Chloe.
Also, this case has reminded locals of the disappearance of a four years-old girl and her father in January, but their bodies were found 17 days later.

I can perfectly remember when Madeleine went missing. All of my friends and I were talking about this like all the time.

I've always been scared about these things. I always have faith until the very last minute when the bodies are unfortunately found or until like in Marta del Castillo's case, where the murder confirmed he killed her even if he doesn't seem to reveal where the body is. I always take a second to remember one case where the girl was kidnapped for 10 years but she finally escaped, or that case where three girls -or already women- with one of the girl's daughter escaped from a man who had kidnapped them as well. I think there's people with psychologic problems that don't kill people but just kidnap them and it is luck that one day the kidnappers are not concentrating, and the victim can escape.

My opinion on: terrorism

Nowadays, to talk about terrorism seems an old thing, something past, but sadly it isn't. There is terrorism all the time, it never stops, and it should have stopped years ago. We are in the 21th century, how is that even possible?

There are a lot of different grades of terrorism, from making bombs explode to burning something public on the street. Sometimes i'ts to claim about something (normally politic) or basically to make fun. Exploding bombs to kill people because you don't agree with something I think is not correct. If you want to protest about something there are other ways to, that may or may not be easy but everything is better than killing innocent people, otherwise, if you kill people then obviously you are not going to be listened to and won't be respcted at all. Making things correctly is the best way, even if it needs more hours and more dedication to succeed. On the other hand, burning public stuff on the street is something I don't find very bad -as long as it doesn't harm anyone- because many times doing things properly and following the rules doesn't work. But that should be the last option; if you can try to do things correctly before, then why not?

One of my wishes since I was little was the end of wars. All I would always ask for was that, because I I used to see it on TV (wars) and a lot of people dying and that would always break my heart. I was approximately 8 years-old and I actually thought the war stopped. Little me, probably I stopped watching the news, or I wouldn't even notice there were still wars. But at least I felt better for some years of my childhood.
Wars have never stopped. There are always two or more countries fighting for different reasons. My opinion on this is: there are ways and ways. Why would us keep fighting, involving our countries into wars when we all should have learnt after Hitler and Franco's years that killing innocent people because of other reasons is not the right option? Children, teenagers, adults, old people... Everyone receives this, everyone is living in danger. And what have these little childs done? For example. Who can answer this...? Come on...

I don't see the "cool" side, the "pleasure" of terrorism. I don't care which grade it is, I really don't get it. I know things are not working lately with politics, and probably have never done, but there are a lof of different ways to talk and express thoughts, or at least that's what should be. Us, the humans, should have never have had to wander to violence or any kind of terrorism.

I only wish terrorism and smiliar things to this could stop for once...

Frozen

When the movie "Frozen" came out, my little sister wanted to go to the movies to watch it. Normally, my mum join her, but that day I was bored as hell and wanted to go out so badly, so decided to take her there instead of my mum.

When we arrived, I noticed I was the only teenager there and at first I felt a bit pathetic but then I realized that feeling that way was stupid. I'm 16 years-old and I still like Disney movies, what's wrong with that? They always give you strenght and faith to believe in things. But to be honest I wasn't that excited.

The movie started and I felt like a little child again, and I really enjoyed the whole movie. Actually, I think I liked the movie more than my sister did, and I went home feeling so happy.

The movie related the story of two princesses, one some years older than the other. The older one, Elsa, has a weird power in her hands that makes her froze everything she touches, even though at first this would only happen when she wanted to. Until one day, playing with her sister Anna creating snow, harmed her. It was something serious, very serious, and they needed the help of some little animals. They made her get better but she forgot everything that happened that day.

Since that day, Elsa decided to be closed in her room always, all the time. She would never go out, because the power became so bigger until the point all her room was frozen. Everything that was around her would be frozen, like ice. Her little sister would be always knocking at her door asking her "Do you wanna build a snowman?", but Elsa would never answer.

Their parents had died years ago and on the day of Elsa's birthday, when she was going to become the queen. She got ready and wore gloves so she wouldn't froze everything she touched.

Anna saw her for the first time after a lot of years and there, Anna decided she wanted to marry some guy she had just met because she thought she was "already in love". That made Elsa angry and suddenly, one of her gloves fell and her power was found out. Everyone got scared and so Anna did.
Elsa ran away and went to the mountains, where with her own power she created a whole ice castle that wouldn't undo. She was sad, but at the same time she felt free.

Anna went after her and left the city under that guy she had just met. On her way, she met another guy with his pet and he promised her he would help her find her sister. They lived some adventures and they met Olaf, a snowman so cute.

Finally, they found Elsa, but she was pretending to be angry and tried to convice them that she wanted to be there alone. During the movie, there are some problems and at the end, Anna finds out that boy she wanted to marry isn't what she thought.

At the end of the movie, Elsa injures Anna again accidentaly and her heart starts to froze again. She starts to have her hair white, like Elsa, and she starts to not have energy. She is about to die frozen, but finally Elsa arrived, and hugs her and she lives again.

So the movie, obviously, has beautiful happy ending.

I really loved this movie and I'm not ashamed anymore to say it. I cannot wait to have free time again and watch it !
