Since last year I've been working on my blog at English cloass, which consists in posting essays and tasks.
To be honest, I really like the educational blogging even though most of my peers hate it and find it useless. I think it's a great way to free yourself in some things and give your opinion about thigns you like, you are interested in, worried about... And in addition it lets the teacher know more about their students.
I personally think you can learn a lot with this because it makes you think and be a bit creative. It's also useful because to write your posts you need to have a clear structure. But blog posts are prepared at home, which means teachers have no idea what their students do at home, so that's why I think it's kind of important that teachers see what their students are able to do by themselves. With this I mean, when a student prepares his/her post, they can use dictionary and translator, which on the one hand is great because they can learn the words they don't know but on the other hand it keeps them from doing their best-maybe, sometimes.
Besides, if you write and post things in your blog, you have no idea what you've done wrong and you don't know your mistakes because the teacher checks it but doesn't correct it and gives it back to you.
But I still think it has a lot of positive sides. With blogs I can also check my peers' blogs, take a look at them and see their thoughts, such as movie opinions, music taste... And I actually do this quite a lot probably like very single time I go online on my blog.
If I were a teacher I would probably make my students do this as well, but I'd try to find a way to let them know where they have made mistakes so they can know it and not do the same mistake again.

Should teachers wear an uniform or have a dress code?
In the country I'm currently living, in public school it's not necessary to wear an unifrom and to be honest I don't know if that's okay or not, but that's another topic.
In schools like mine, students don't wear uniform and teachers don't either, which is pretty obvious; if they did and we didn't it would be a bit weird... If we don't wear them, then I don't ask them to neither; in case I did and they didn't I would be mad!
I personally don't think it's necessary for teachers to wear uniforms or to have a dress code. We live in a free country -apparently- and they don't need a code that shows they are teachers or something, I think it's useless. Who has them as a teacher then they know their name but for example I don't have my friend's History teacher, why do I want to know his name or something? And, as I can show who I am or how I am with my clothes, theachers are allowed too. We actually can see a lot of things -and wonder even more things- of them by only their looks, and it's kind of interesting.
In case we wore uniform, then I would want them to wear one special for theachers, but not with a sign of their names, I honestly don't think that's necessary.
Sometimes I think maybe there would be less bullying and judgemental people if we wore uniforms because basically no one can see your style, if you are rich, poor... Everyone is the same. But on the other hand I think it's great to give people the freedom to express their personality with their clothes, so I guess I kind of like our method, even though I don't think I would mind a lot to wear uniform.

My opinion on: terrorism
Nowadays, to talk about terrorism seems an old thing, something past, but sadly it isn't. There is terrorism all the time, it never stops, and it should have stopped years ago. We are in the 21th century, how is that even possible?
There are a lot of different grades of terrorism, from making bombs explode to burning something public on the street. Sometimes i'ts to claim about something (normally politic) or basically to make fun. Exploding bombs to kill people because you don't agree with something I think is not correct. If you want to protest about something there are other ways to, that may or may not be easy but everything is better than killing innocent people, otherwise, if you kill people then obviously you are not going to be listened to and won't be respcted at all. Making things correctly is the best way, even if it needs more hours and more dedication to succeed. On the other hand, burning public stuff on the street is something I don't find very bad -as long as it doesn't harm anyone- because many times doing things properly and following the rules doesn't work. But that should be the last option; if you can try to do things correctly before, then why not?
One of my wishes since I was little was the end of wars. All I would always ask for was that, because I I used to see it on TV (wars) and a lot of people dying and that would always break my heart. I was approximately 8 years-old and I actually thought the war stopped. Little me, probably I stopped watching the news, or I wouldn't even notice there were still wars. But at least I felt better for some years of my childhood.
Wars have never stopped. There are always two or more countries fighting for different reasons. My opinion on this is: there are ways and ways. Why would us keep fighting, involving our countries into wars when we all should have learnt after Hitler and Franco's years that killing innocent people because of other reasons is not the right option? Children, teenagers, adults, old people... Everyone receives this, everyone is living in danger. And what have these little childs done? For example. Who can answer this...? Come on...
I don't see the "cool" side, the "pleasure" of terrorism. I don't care which grade it is, I really don't get it. I know things are not working lately with politics, and probably have never done, but there are a lof of different ways to talk and express thoughts, or at least that's what should be. Us, the humans, should have never have had to wander to violence or any kind of terrorism.
I only wish terrorism and smiliar things to this could stop for once...

United Kingdom, Candada or Australia
Since I was born I've been living in the same place and I've just moved once when I was one year old so I don't remember. I've just had one house I remember and I've just lived here so I've been with the same people since I can remember. I guess that's why I find so interesting changing of country and start a new life from 0, living in another place with similar or totally different cultures, with new people where you don't know anyone and with another language.
I love traveling and if I could I would travel the whole world. To be honest I think every country has beautiful and interesting things, but there are some places I have preference to live in. If you asked me where would I like to go to live right now, I don't think I would be able to respond with just one answer. There are some countries I would love to live in and I will try to do my best to live or at least visit once all these countries. These countries are the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. I also love the United States of America and Holland, but in U.S.A. guns are allowed for everyone and that is something that scares me and Holland has it's own language which I barely know a word and I think the pronunciation is too complicated for me. That's why I have the U.K., Canada and Australia in my mind. I know a bit of English and at least I would be able to talk.
The United Kingdom is a place so many people around the world wants to be from. They have a cool pronunciation and to be honest I love the style they have there and the way they are. It's very beautiful and it's not hot, which I love.
Canada is a beautiful place too where they see snow every year. I know most of the people there hates the snow and are tired but I don't hate it at all and I wish I could see snow more than twice in my life. I don't know a lot of things from there but all the pictures I've seen are really beautiful. And it's kind of similar to U.S.A. and I love that country and if it wasn't because of the gums I would definitely have the idea of moving there in my mind but I'm way too scared.
Australia is a totally different place and people around me think it's weird that I would like to move to there, because they have a very warm weather and it's hot and all they have is beaches and such... But yes, I like it anyways. But that country is very far away from here and if something ever happened here that I had to come as soon as possible, it would be so difficult and expensive for me to take a plane and come here.
One thing I like from one of this countries is that they eat earlier than I do. For example, they have lunch at 12pm when I have it at 2pm, and they have dinner at 5-6 pm when I have it at 8-9pm, and if you think about it, us, the spanish people, have meals way too late because eating a meal that late at night it's not very healthy; it would be healthier to eat earlier and then go to do some sport or go out for a walk... I think they enjoy the day more than we do. And it would be hard for me and I totally know what I'm talking about because last year when I went to Germany in my friend's grandparent's house, we would eat at those hours and it was really difficult for me but life is kind of different that way.
If I could I definitely would like to change it to that way but here it's not easy to because people's work are related to the time we have meals, so it's kind of hard.
If I could move to any of those countries tomorrow knowing that I will have a place to stay in, I would totally say yes. I cannot wait to live new experiences!

Dear Mrs. Victoria Philpott,
I'm writing to you because I'm interested in doing a gapyear in Canada.
I would like to apply for an International Experience Canada (IEC) to live and work in Canada for one year. Specifically in Toronto, working in the ski and snowboarding industry. I really like everything related to snow and personally I think if I could have a chance to do a gapyear there I would enjoy it a lot!
I'm not a very sportive girl but I really like the cold and I would like to learn how to skii properly.
One of the main reasons I'm interested in this is to improve my English and live a new experience in another country, meet new people and enjoy.
King regards,
Esther

FILM REVIEW: The Book Thief
Approximately one month ago I went to the cinemas to watch a movie with my friends called The Book Thief. I really enjoyed this movie and to be honest it's very sad but because it is very realistic and shows things that happened years ago. I cried and I wasn't the only one; basically all the people watching the movie were crying.
This movie starts with the story of Liesel, a young girl whose little brother dies in the beggining of the movie when they are on their way to some "addoption" because of the situation in Germany during Hitler's times.
She arrives at the house where an old couple are waiting for her. They were expecting to have two children and the woman was a bit disappointed when she saw only the girl. This woman was kind of mean in the beggining but during the movie she starts being more comprensive and finally she loves her as a granddaughter. The man since the first time treats her very good and makes her feel more comfortable.
When Liesel arrives she is first made laugh of at school because she can't read. She hates it and the man helps her to learn. She starts to read a lot. Meanwhile she meets a blondie guy at her class who is her neighboor and they become very friends; he likes Liesel and he is constantly asking her to give him a kiss but she always rejects him.
One day a jewish guy arrives. He is the son of some old friend the man had and he has to take care of him because some years ago he promised his friend he was going to do something for him whenever he needed it. This friend was dead but his son was in danger so he asked him for help and he received it. The couple had to hide him from everyone because if Hiltler's people found him all of them would be dead immediately.
Liesel becomes his friend fast and they live a "normal" life. She gets to know the major's wife and she lets her go inside the house and read the amount of books she has for hours. She really enjoys it but one day the major sees it and gets angry. Since that day Liesel has to stop going to the house.
One day Hitler's people is checking every single house to be sure there is no jewish people hiden. Liesel and the blondie are in the street playing with other boys and when Liesel sees it goes directly to the house to let the old couple know. They get very nervous and they try to hide the jewish guy. It seems like it's impossible and the woman tries to act like there is no one. They are friends with those men so they are very friendly but still, they have to check. So they go downstairs and the couple and Liesel were very scared. But they didn't see anything.
They calmed down but at night Hitler's people start to bombard the city and all the town have to hide in a safe place. But the jewish man can't and he decides to enjoy that time when no one is in the streets and decides to go outside. When the family comes back they see he is not there and guess he is dead. They are sad but keep with everything.
At the end a voice that is not any character in the movie starts to talk: the Dead. It says one of those nights he took so many lifes and the blondie and his family appear and so the old couple does. Suddenly Liesel appears (she is alive) and we can see all destroyed. She sees everyone she loves dead and the blondie lying in the floor. She goes to him and sees he is not dead but almost. At this time, the blonde guy tells her "let me tell you one thing" and she is like "no, don't say nothing", but he insists and he says "I love you" and then he dies. Liesel kisses him but it's too late. In this moment everyone in the hall cried.
Then appears how Liesel is in the streets and is in a shop where the blonde guy's father works ( he was in the war and didn't die ) and suddenly the jewish guy appears; he didn't die neither.
I really enjoyed watching this movie and I think it's very beautiful and realistic because it shows how people had to live years ago with Hitler and all that law. It shows how german people had to live and how jewish people had. In addition from the movie I realized that if you love someone you have to tell them everyday and let them know. You shouldn't stay it with you because you are scared of something, you should just let them know because you never know what can happen. Maybe tomorrow is too late to tell the boy/girl you like you love them.

Our world
Our planet is a big place with so many people, different languages and cultures. It's impossible to tell how many people there's alive in the world; babies around the world are born every second and people dies every second. It's shocking and you can see it with your own eyes in this link http://www.worldometers.info . Right now there is 7,215,014,980 people in this world. Well, not anymore. This link shows real time world stadistics about basically everything. You cannot even copy and paste a number because it changes in less than a second.
But not every person in this Earth has a proper life. The U.S. is not the same as China, the United Kingdom is not the same as South-America and Australia is not the same as Africa. Some countries are more developed than others and with a huge difference. In places like the U.S, Canada, Europe, Australia and some parts of Asia there's a better life. There, people have houses with electricity, water and light. They can buy food and clothes and live more or less good. Obviously that is not for everyone and with the crisis everytime the number of people living like this is getting little. I just hope politicians do their job well and all of this gets better soon.
In other countries like South-America, Africa and some parts of Asia it's not the same. But this can be showed even more in Africa. There, is very hot and it's desert. There is not so many rich people and they live super good while most of the population is poor. People starves and need water to survive. For the moment, today about 19,733 people have died of hunger in the world and this number grows one number approximately after 3 seconds.Probably most of them live in Africa. That's why many africans are these past days trying to go to Spain, to find a better life yet they are doing it illegally. People need to move to other countries to live better.
I think it's impossible to go to any country, city or town and not see someone that is not from there. I mean, someone who their family and surname is from another country even if they are living in that country for years. People is constantly moving from one town to another, from one city to another or to one country to another. Some of them do it to change, to try new things or because any other random reason. But a lot of them do it because they can't keep living in the way they do in their country because the situation is horrible; they need a work and need to collect money to give a proper life to their family. These people is most of the time from poor countries and they live poorly in the country they go too, but at least they live. They normally work with the worst jobs native people don't want to work of. For example, cleaning the streets or being the cleaning lady. Even though these things are changing lately.
London is a cosmopolitan capital where they respect cultures and as I got told, you can see so many people from different countries. There are many cities like this which actually is great.
The world is quite unfair for some people and I think it's not a very comfortable thought thinking that while I'm writing this and you are reading this and being in the year we are now, 2014, the world is still in these conditions and we can't do a lot to change it. No one is better than the other, no country is more worth than another and people shouldn't be dying because of hunger and thirst.
Awful reaction to Zantac
Medicines and drugs are in our daily life and most of us use them without thinking of how many consequences can they have.
Leanne Howes, a 17 year old girl took 150 mg dose of Zantac Ranitidine to treat her IBS (Irritable bowel syndrom, a sympthom based diagnosis characterized by chronic abdomina kpain, discomfort, bloating and aternation of bowel habits) and suffered an allergic reaction. This left her skin falling off in chunks; it burnt up, scabbed over and finally fell off.
Lianne had her first symptom when she fell ill. She was at work and didn't feel well so she bought some tablets, which didn't do anything wrong during that day until the next morning. Then she was rushed to the hospital and there she fought hard for her life. Doctors said that it was a miracle and she got treated in the same way as burns victims.
While she was recovering she had her mother and boyfriend by her side and he would always tell her she was beautiful even though she had lost hair, nails and everything.
Not everyone who suffers this survive and that is way Leanne feels so lucky to be alive. But now she is very scared of taking more medicines.
Here you can see from the photos the effects of her awful reaction:

Limits of science
These past years science has been growing way too fast and probably not even scientists know how far can this go. Science has arrived to that point where everything seems possible.
One of the things that they have succeed on is cloning. About 16 years ago scientists tried to clone a sheep and they did, even though she died early. From my point of view, cloning animals or people is something useless, and that it's only taking time from discovering more important things.
On the other hand, cloning organs or parts of the body is something I have no doubt that is essential and important for our daily life. Cloning organs would help and save so many lifes which would be a huge advance.
In my opinion, scientists are not wasting but not profiting their clever brains to solve grave things like cancer. 21th century and still we don't have a cure to these things that are killing people all over the world everyday.

Orphan Black
Orphan Black is a TV series which relates the story of Sarah Manning. The story starts with this woman, Sarah, when she is in the train station waiting for the train and she sees a woman that walks by her and leaves her bag and stuff in the floor and jumps to the railway to kill herself. This woman looked very similar to her, like if it was actually her and, while everyone came to help the dead woman, Sarah took all the stuffs she left in the floor and leaves.
The story starts here, when Sarah looks what's on the bag and goes to the woman house. She decides to be her and start like a new life because this woman seem to have a good life. She dresses with her clothes and live in the house. With her friend, they decide to say that Sarah is dead now and that she is Beth, this other woman. Her friend prepares the funeral and Sarah acts like she is that woman. She sees Beth had a boyfriend and she has to act like she is his actual girlfriend.
But what Sarah didn't expect at all was that Beth was involved in a some strange and private and probably dangerous thing, where the women are clons. She cannot understand what is this because suddendly she discovers Beth has a lot of money and that people is like nervous when they see her after days because she disappeared for some days.
In Sarah's apparently funeral, Sarah is there taking a look hiden of what's going on and then, she takes a car and there is another woman who looks practically the same as Sarah again, like another clon. That woman tells her she has to do some things but Sarah tried to ignore her. First that woman thinks that's Beth but then she realize she is not, so she tells her but all of a sudden someone shoots her and dies.
This is where I've seen for the moment and is really interesting even though it's a bit confusing sometimes for me to understand. But still I love it and I think it's awesome and if I had more free time I would watch all the chapters for sure!

Sweet Sixteen Project
The video below it's the recording of Angelina and I presentation about the Sweet Sixteen Party.
(The end of the presentation it's not recorded because who was holding the mobile phone got tired. Sorry!!!!)
"Hello, as you know we are Angelina and Esther and today we are talking about the Sweet Sixteen party. We are going to show you the traditions, themes, dresses, invitations and some videos.
The Sweet Sixteen party it's a copy of the Quinceañera, which means the moments when a girl goes from childhood to womenhood.
In North America and Canada it's a coming of age party celebrating the sixteenth birthday of a girl, and recently also for some boys.
One of the traditions is the Candle Lighting. It's a ceremony done by the guests, family and friends. Each candle is for a special person, for the parents, grandparents, uncles, best friends and maybe, if there is one, the boyfriend.
Another tradition is the Father-daughter dance, it's the first dance dedicated to father and daughter. It's a symbol for her maternity and independence. Once the dance is over, it's followed by a dance with the friends.
The Shoe Changing ceeremony is common in the Quinceañera celebration. The flat shoes are changed to heels. It's also a symbol of the child growing into adulthood.
First of all you have to choose a theme, which can be:
-Dance Party: It's a party for boys and girls and it has to take place in a location with plenty of space for a dance floor like a hotel ballroom. It's necessary to hire a DJ who plays the birthday girl's favourite music all night long.
-Spa Party: Every girl loves beauty products, so some girls choose this theme for their party. It's a smaller celebration, ,with only the closest friends. The girl and her friends go to a local spa and then they enjoy beauty treatments. After this, they can go out for a fancy dinner.
-Hollywood Party: It's for those who love glitz and glamour. It has to have a red carpet outside your house, and your guests have to dress like celebraties.
-Luau Party: It's a tropical theme. It's ideal to celebrate it during summer, choosing a location with a pool and make it as tropical as possible, decorating it with colored lanterns, palm trees and beach balls.
-Princess Ball Party: It's a party inspired in fairy tales. The girl has to feel like a real princess. The best location is a ballroom decorated with flowers, lights and a castle. After the dinner everyone goes to a dance.
The most important and most exciting thing to do for every girl is to find the perfect dress. They look for it during months until they find it. There are many different kind of dresses, from the princess dress to the red carpet dress.
Planning a party like this costs a lot of time and it's ideal to start it one year before the big event.
1-First of all, you have to create a budget to know how much you can spend.
2-Then you have to decide on a date.
3-After this, choose a theme. You can choose one of the ones we've just explained.
4-Now that you know what theme to use, pick a perfect location.
5-You also have to create a guest list; it's always better to invite more people because some of them surely can't come.
6-You have to care about the entertaiment, so hire a good DJ and a caterer.
7-You have to buy the decoration and presents, and the most important, the dress.
The invitation it's the first impression to the party. It has to be designed according to the party's theme, and it has to include date, hour, place and theme."

What I've learnt about our oral presentations
During this last week my classmates and I have been presenting our oral presentations about traditions around the world. It was a project about one interesting tradition that it's done in some place of the world, and we had the chance to make it alone or in pairs.
I did mine with Angelina and we talked about the Sweet Sixteen party that it's done mostly in North America. First of all we explained what we were going to talk about and after this we started talking about some common traditions (Candle Lighting, Father-daughter, Shoe Changing). Then we explained some themes (Dance Party, Spa Party, Hollywood Party, Luau, Princess Ball) and then we showed some dresses. We also explained how to plan one of these big parties and what has to include an invitation. Angelina explained that MTV did a TV reality show about it and at the end, we showed one comic video of the problems that can appear and a video of approximately four minutes that shows all the party.
My classmate's presentations were very good. Most of them talked about weddings and funerals around the world from different cultures and it was really interesting. I learnt that in some places, when someone dies, they cut the body in different parts and spread it in the mountain. I got shocked with this because I can't find any sense with it. If in almost every culture they do specific things in the funerals so the soul can go to a better place and can be in peace for ever, how is supposed the body rest in peace forever if the body is cut and spreaded? I also learnt that in one european country to say yes with the had they shake the head horizontaly and to say no they shake it vertically, so they do it otherwise from the rest of the world. I don't understand why neither because it's like, every single person in the world shakes the head horizontaly to say no and vertically to say yes and just one country does it otherwise? And did you know when a viking died they used to put the body on one of those huge boats they had and they burnt it together? I knew something about it but I didn't know they did it with every single person that died. They probably used to burn many boats!!!!!

What does your smile say?
A professor of psychology, Matthew Hertenstein, did some research to see if by just looking at children's childhood school photographs, he could predict who would get divorced sometime in their lives. To do this he looked at photographs in hundreds of school yearbooks (childhood and adolescent photos) of people who are now 55. With this he saw that children who looked unhappy were the people who got divorced, not like the ones that smiled. Of course many children can fake smiles, so he checked if when the child smiled, the muscle that pulls up the lip was contracted, as well as the orbicularis oculi (because the muscle that makes the smile can be seen in the eye). But Matthew conceded that this is not completely true. The smile, or lack thereof, do not define exactly if your life is going to be one way or another.
I was really surprised when I saw this. I had never thought before that your smile can define (in a way) your future. But I don't agree with this a lot. Everyone can have bad days; you can look horrible in the picture, when actually you were happy. Or you could have had a bad day the day before and then you took the picture and you looked horrible. Or maybe you were always sad but that special person you married made you change and it lasted for ever. I know this is a study and so everything is real, and that a smile can hide many things, but I don't think it can describe our future.

Princess Diana, Rihanna's style icon
Rihanna has a not very common style, yet lately many stars use it. They don't cover their clothes a lot and some people say not very nice things about them. But they don't seem to care a lot of the comments. Not many people would have ever thought Rihanna saying "She killed it", talking about Princess Diana. She said that everything the Princess wore looked good on her and she states that she loves the hats and oversize jackets she used to wear. Describing her says "she was a gangsta with her clothes". But people does not have a good reaction to all her words like "she killed it", "she was a gangsta" about a princess and say she is a disgrace. Personally, I do agree with them because honestly, you can't say stuffs like this to a magazine nor talk about a famous princess in this way. It doesn't matter how famous she is, she should have more appropiate words I think.
Rihanna also says she started to admire fashion because of her mother, that she kick-started her, as she used to watch her get dressed. "she was so fly. So fly", says about her mother.
Who would have ever thought as Rihanna admiring Princess Diana's style? I wouldn't! But the truth is that Diana's style was actually beautiful and with glamour. She was so cool and I do like her too!

Breakfast: yes or not?
Some recent reports linked skipping breakfast to obesity, diabetes and others things like catching flu. In addition, men who don't have breakfast are more likely to suffer heart attacks or heart disease.
Breakfast is one of three important daily meals and that's why, if you'd skip it, then you would be hungry at mid-morning and then you would get a snack. As you would have eaten not many hours ago, you wouldn't be hungry for lunch, so you wouldn't have a proper meal and you would be hungry by mid-afternoon. Then you would have another snack and this would be always the same, because not eating the enough energy and food makes us need it and feel uncomfortable, and this has its consequences because when you get snack, most of the times isn't a healthy one.
According to an expert, Dr Neil Standley, when we wake up our body gets ready for daytime so the hormones release and that makes us feel hungry. But this is more common to people who normally go to sleep at the same time and more or less soon, because to people that stay up late and then have problems to wake up, don't feel hungry until some hours later, so it's recommended to go to sleep every night at the same time.

In one study they noticed when someone didn't have breakfast, they ate 20 per cent more at lunch because they were hungry and were more likely to seek unhealthier and high-calorie foods. This is because humans, after a priod of fasting, are primed to seek sugary and fatty foods.
Some examples of breakfast that are shown in the text and that have less than 300 calories (enough number of calories to stop you overeating later) are:
-bowl of porridge with honey
-bowl of Special K cereal with milk
-boiled egg with a slice of wholemeal toast
I really recommend you to read this report because it's very interesting and helful. I found it simple, but effective.

Am I beautiful now?
This song by Outcast Youth and Amy Lee talks about the story of a girl with an eating disorder because she wants to be beautiful.
The song is sang by a boy that explains what a friend told him; she told him she needed help because she started cutting herself. She does not like what she sees in the mirror and tries to not to eat, but even she starves she is hungry and feels horrible. She explains him there's a boy she likes but he doesn't pay attention on her because he probably thinks she is fat and ugly.
Then the history keeps going and the girl is some years older and she is thinner. She thinks there are some chances that boy asks her to go out, but she is still ashamed of herself. While all these years she explains she lost friends and things changed but she still does the same... because she can't stop.
Years later the girl has a boyfriend that loves her. She is stopping cutting.
I think this song is indirectly a protest to society's idea's of beautiful. It explains a story lived by thousands and thousands of girls around the world every day because they just want to be beautiful. They want to be loved, accepted and enough. They want to be perfect.
"I bleed" specifies what is currently known as beautiful, saying Katy Perry, Rihanna, Hale Berry and Beyonce probably never felt this fat and ugly like the girl does. All those women have approximately the same size and that is what society wants. If you are like them then you are beautiful.
But aside of this, I think it is also a protest to eating disorders like anorexia or bulimia. The girl starves and purges so she can be beautiful.
Also it says if she is thin she will be loved by the boy she likes because while she is "fat" she can't be loved by him.
I'm really connected with this song. I really like it. I'm sick of this society. Not thin? Then not beautiful. Easy. But eh! Society will call you fat, but when you starve they will say you are crazy and an attention seeker. And when you are anorexic they will feel sorry for you and will ask why is people so mean or they will just critiquize you more and say awful things. And when you are dead because you killed yourself or because anorexia killed you then you will have been always loved, you will have been always beautiful, you will be the poor girl that commited suicide and you will be "always missed".
